1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lawyered-Up app you agree to be bound by these Terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree you may not use the platform.

2.Legal Disclaimer

Lawyered Up provides real - time access to licensed attorneys and legal representatives. Communication with our AI assistant or Expert Intermediaries or law students does not establish an attorney client relationship. Legal advice is only given by a licensed attorney.

3.Eligibility

Lawyered Up is available for use by individuals worldwide and may be used by individuals of any age in accordance with local laws.

Minors under 18 are permitted to download and use the app especially in circumstances involving danger, abuse, coercion, or where legal help is needed, and a parent or guardian is unavailable. An adult 18 or older must sign them up on platform and give consent.

Signing up for Lawyered Up does not form a legal contract or attorney client relationship. That relationship is only established once a licensed attorney accepts the case or joins a live session. The contract during the live session ends when the session ends. Unless further assistance is needed outside the scope of that live session than a contract can be established between client an attorney within app with its own terms and agreements.

Lawyered Up is a safety-first platform intended to protect the rights of all individuals, including minors in distress. We reserve the right to restrict access where local laws explicitly prohibits minors access to legal platforms, but we also have the right to challenge those laws in what's in the best interest of the minor!

4.User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Use the platform unlawful or abusive purpose.

Submit false or defamatory content

Misuses emergency features or impersonate an attorney or legal staff

Violate any applicable local, state or federal laws.

Violations may lead to suspension

 

5.Attorney - Client Relationship

A formal attorney client relationship is established only when a licensed attorney affirmatively accepts representation of a user through the Lawyered-Up platform or otherwise communicates acceptance in accordance with applicable law and professional ethics. Simply creating an account, submitting information, using AI features, communicating with an Expert Intermediary or law student, requesting an attorney, or waiting to be connected does not, by itself, establish an attorney client relationship.

Unless the attorney expressly agrees otherwise, any legal representation provided through a live consultation is limited solely to the legal matter discussed during that consultation. Representation does not automatically continue after the consultation ends and does not create an ongoing obligation to provide additional legal services, court appearances, document preparation, appeals, or continued representation.
Attorneys may decline, limit, or terminate a consultation when required or permitted by applicable law, professional responsibility rules, conflicts of interest, licensing restrictions, safety concerns, or other ethical obligations.

Attorneys are entitled to rely upon the accuracy and completeness of the information provided by the user. Legal advice is based solely upon the facts known to the attorney during the consultation, and attorneys have no duty to independently investigate, verify, or supplement facts during emergency or limited-scope consultations unless they expressly agree to do so.

Users remain solely responsible for their own decisions and actions. Neither the attorney nor Lawyered Up is responsible when a user refuses, delays, ignores, or acts contrary to legal advice provided during a consultation.

 

6.Payment and Billing

Services may involve:

Subscription fees

Per - minute usage fees

Emergency surcharges

You agree to authorize billing through Stripe or another approved payment processor. Failure to pay may result in service suspensions.

 

7.Privacy & Data Use

We collect data in order to make Lawyered Up work to its best potential for you. Location for emergency situations and connect with the right attorney. Call recording and transcripts to betters serve you if you later need them for court or legal disputes. uploaded documents and legal paperwork. User metadata (IP device ID, etc.)

ALL DATA IS STORED SECURLY AND ENCRYPTED. WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL DATA. OUR POLICIES FOLLOW HIPAA - LIKE DATA STANDARDS AND STATE LEVEL AND CONSTITUTIONAL LEVEL PRIAVCY LAWS. WE ARE IN THE PROTECTION BUSISNESS AND WE WILL PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, LAWYERED UP EXIST TO PROTECT NOT EXPLOIT. WE REFUSE TO SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITHOUT LAWFUL CAUSE REJECTING SURVAILENCE PARTNERTSHIPS AND SAFE GAURDING YOUR PERSONAL RIGHTS AGAINST OVERREACH OR ABUSE. SMS POLICY, WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR MOBILE INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES OR AFFILIATES FOR MARKETING OR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES. WE NOT SHARE TEXTE MESSAGING ORIGINATRO OPT-IN DATA OR CONSENT WITH ANY THIRD PARTY. If we are not legally required to disclose your information, the request will simply be denied.

 

8.AI Usage and Disclosure

Our platform uses AI to:

Assist with case intake

Generate summaries and transcripts

Translate language

Detect possible rights violations (e.g. coercion, aggression and deception etc.)

AI is a tool and not a license professional. All AI content is for informational support only and is reviewed, when necessary, by human legal experts.

All AI analysis and outputs generated through the Lawyered-Up platform are probabilistic and may contain errors or omissions. AI content is provided solely for informational support and does not constitute legal advice. Users should verify any AI generated information with a licensed attorney before relying on it for legal, financial or personal decisions.

 

9. Account Suspension and Termination:

Lawyered Up reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform, with or without notice for any of the following reasons.

Violation of these terms and conditions.

Abuse or misuse of emergency tools or features

Misrepresentation of identity, including posing as an attorney or any legal representative

attempting to exploit the system, users, or platform functions.

Engaging in harassment, threats, or other unlawful behavior through the platform.

Lawyer Up exist to protect its users, not tolerate abuse or impersonation. We take violations seriously and enforce them with a zero-tolerance stance.

10.Limitation of Liability

Lawyered Up, Inc. is not liable for:

Misuse of app

incorrect AI output

Service delays or interruptions

User conduct or actions taken based on legal guidance.

Misrepresentation of anyone on this app taking on the role of a licensed attorney. We will do our best to vet all professionals and assure that they are in good standing within their jurisdiction and associations that govern them. but in case of fraudulent representation Lawyered Up is not liable.

Users are solely responsible for their own decisions, actions, and conduct before, during, and after any consultation. Neither Lawyered Up, Inc. nor any participating attorney shall be liable for any consequences resulting from a user’s decision to follow, partially follow, delay, disregard, misinterpret, or refuse legal advice or recommendations provided through the platform.
Lawyered Up, Inc. and participating attorneys are not responsible for the independent actions, decisions, or conduct of law enforcement officers, prosecutors, judges, juries, government agencies, emergency responders, correctional facilities, opposing parties, witnesses, or any other third party.

Lawyered Up, Inc. does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Neither Lawyered Up, Inc. nor participating attorneys shall be liable for delays, interruptions, dropped calls, internet or cellular service failures, device malfunctions, power outages, technical failures, or other events beyond their reasonable control.

Legal advice provided through the platform is based upon the information available at the time of the consultation and does not guarantee any particular legal outcome, court decision, dismissal, settlement, acquittal, or other result. During emergency situations, legal advice may be provided under rapidly evolving circumstances and time constraints. Neither Lawyered Up, Inc. nor participating attorneys guarantee the safety of any person or the outcome of any emergency event.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the limitations of liability contained in these Terms apply to all claims, whether arising under contract, tort, negligence, statute, equity, or any other legal theory.

 

11.GOVERNING LAW & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the state of Arizona were Lawyered Up, Inc. is registered. By using this platform. you agree to resolve any disputes exclusively with in the courts of Maricopa County Arizona, or in the case of federal jurisdiction the United States District Court for the district of Arizona. Both parties waive their right to a jury trial and consent to resolution by judge or agreed upon arbitration where applicable.

12.Intellectual Property & Copyright.

All content, designs, codes, trademarks, and features within Lawyered Up platforms or websites are owned by Lawyered Up Inc. and are protected under U.S and international copyright, trademark and patent laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or exploit the platforms content or services without written consent.

13.Optional Arbitrations Clause.

In the event of a dispute between a user and Lawyered Up, Inc. both parties may mutually agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration instead of court proceedings. Arbitration will be conducted in the state of Arizona by a neutral arbitrator, and both parties will bear their own legal costs unless otherwise awarded.

14.Class Action Waiver

By using this platform, you agree that any dispute or claim shall be brought on an individual basis only and not as a class action or other representative proceedings. You further waive any rights to participate in a class action lawsuit or class - wide arbitration against Lawyered Up, Inc.

15.Attorney Conduct Disclaimer

Lawyered Up, Inc. is a technology platform that connects users with licensed attorneys and legal representatives. We do not supervise, direct or control the actions, conduct, or statements of any attorney. Any misrepresentation, misconduct, or malpractice by an attorney is the sole responsibility of the individual attorney and does not reflect the actions or policies of Lawyered Up, Inc. By using this platform, you acknowledge that Lawyered Up is not liable for attorney conduct, misrepresentation, or legal outcomes related to attorney advice or representation. This encompasses Expert Intermediaries and law students as well.

16. Attorneys using the Lawyered-Up Platform agree to the following.

  1. They are fully licensed and in good standing with the states bar(s) in the jurisdictions where they offer services.
  2. They will provide accurate credentials and promptly update any changes in bar status or eligibility.
  3. They will maintain any legally required malpractice insurance, professional liability coverage, and certifications as required by their governing jurisdiction.
  4. They are solely responsible for ensuring that their actions, advice, and communications comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as all rules of professional and ethical conduct.

Lawyered Up, Inc. does not monitor or control attorney - client communications, does not provide legal advice, and is not liable for any claims, outcomes, damages, or professional violations arising from attorney actions.  

Participating attorneys retain complete independence in the exercise of their professional judgment and shall determine, in their sole discretion and consistent with applicable law and professional responsibility rules, whether to accept, decline, limit, continue, or terminate any consultation or representation initiated through the Lawyered-Up platform. Nothing contained in these Terms shall be construed to require an attorney to provide legal services in violation of applicable law or ethical obligations.

Attorneys may decline or terminate a consultation or representation due to conflicts of interest, jurisdictional or licensing restrictions, insufficient information, safety concerns, client misconduct, nonpayment where permitted by law, or any other circumstance permitted or required under applicable law or the rules of professional conduct.
Except where expressly agreed to in writing between the attorney and the client, any legal services provided through the Lawyered-Up platform are limited in scope to the consultation or matter accepted by the attorney. No attorney shall have any continuing obligation to provide legal services, file pleadings, appear in court, prepare documents, monitor deadlines, pursue appeals, or provide ongoing representation unless the attorney expressly agrees to undertake such additional representation.
Nothing contained in these Terms shall interfere with or direct an attorney’s independent professional judgment, legal advice, ethical obligations, or duties owed to a client under applicable law.

Participating attorneys retain complete independence in the exercise of their professional judgment and shall determine, in their sole discretion and consistent with applicable law and the applicable rules of professional conduct, whether to accept, decline, limit, continue, or terminate any consultation or representation initiated through the Lawyered Up platform. Nothing contained in these Terms shall be construed to require an attorney to provide legal services in violation of applicable law or their ethical obligations.

Except where expressly agreed to in writing between the attorney and the client, any legal services provided through the Lawyered-Up platform are limited in scope to the consultation or matter accepted by the attorney. No attorney shall have any continuing obligation to provide legal services, file pleadings, appear in court, prepare legal documents, monitor deadlines, pursue appeals, or provide ongoing representation unless the attorney expressly agrees to undertake such additional representation.

Attorneys are entitled to reasonably rely upon the accuracy and completeness of information provided by users through the Lawyered Up platform. Legal advice is based upon the information available at the time of the consultation, and participating attorneys shall not be responsible for advice affected by false, misleading, incomplete, or omitted information provided by a user.

17.Non - Attorney Representatives (Expert Intermediaries & Law students)

Lawyered Up may facilitate access to trained Expert Intermediaries, legal assistants or law students to support communication and intake processes.

These individuals are not attorneys, do not provide legal advice and do not establish an attorney client relationship. They can quote the law but not advice on it.

Their support is limited to support, de-escalation in hostile situations, transcriptions, translation, emergency guidance, and facilitating attorney connection. Some may even work under the supervision of a licensed attorney.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that all legal advice must exclusively come from a licensed attorney, and Lawyered Up, Inc. is not liable for any statements or actions made by non - attorney representatives.

Users acknowledge that communications with Expert Intermediaries, law students, or other non attorney representatives are intended solely to facilitate communication, case intake, administrative support, translation, transcription, scheduling, and attorney connection services. These communications do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or the practice of law, and users should not rely upon such communications as a substitute for advice provided by a licensed attorney.

18.Conduct standards for Intermediaries and Law students.

Expert Intermediaries, law students, and any no - attorney representatives operating on the Lawyered-Up platform agree to the following.

  1. They shall conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and accuracy in all communications with users.
  2. They shall not impersonate attorneys, offer legal advice. Or misrepresent their role within the platform.
  3. They must follow internal training protocols and legal boundaries set forth by Lawyered Up, Inc.
  4. They must maintain confidentiality of all user interactions and comply with applicable ethical standards related to legal support personal.

19. Attorney Service & Compensation Disclaimer.

  1. No Legal Service by Lawyered Up- Lawyered Up, Inc. is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. All legal services are provided solely by licensed attorneys who are independent of the platform.
  2. Platform Service Fee - Any payment made by an attorney to Lawyered UP is solely for access to the platform, marketing exposure, client lead delivery, case intake processing, and related administrative or technology services. These are a flat - rate or pre - determined and are not contingent upon the outcome of any legal matter.
  3. No Fee - Splitting or Referral Fees. - Lawyered Up does not accept, and attorneys shall not provide, any referral fees, percentage of a legal fee, or any other compensation tied to the amount of a settlement, judgement, or legal fee collected. All fees paid are strictly for business and administrative services.
  4. Compliance - Attorneys using the platform are solely responsible for ensuring that their participation complies with all applicable state bar rules and regulations.

Failure to follow these standards may result in immediate suspension or removal from the platform. Lawyered Up, Inc. is not responsible for any statement made in violation of these terms.

Attorneys are solely responsible for establishing the terms of any legal representation they choose to undertake beyond the services facilitated through the Lawyered-Up platform, including engagement agreements, fee arrangements, trust account compliance, client communications, court filings, and compliance with all applicable laws and rules of professional conduct. Lawyered Up, Inc. is not a party to any attorney-client engagement agreement entered into outside the scope of the platform

20. Data Protection Compliance

Lawyered Up complies with all applicable data protection laws, including California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and other relevant U.S state privacy frame works.

Users may request access, correction, export deletion of their personal data by contacting us. All requests will be processed within legally required time frames.

Nothing contained in these Terms shall be interpreted as limiting or waiving any attorney’s duty of confidentiality, attorney client privilege, or other professional obligations imposed by applicable law. Lawyered Up, Inc. implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect user information; however, no electronic transmission, communication system, or method of data storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

21. Independent Contractor Status (Attorneys, Expert Intermediaries, Law students)

Attorneys, Expert Intermediaries and Law students who use the Lawyered-Up platform act as independent contractors and are not employees, partners or agents of Lawyered Up. They are solely responsible for compliance within their professional roles, taxation malpractice coverage and any obligations within their jurisdictions.

Nothing contained in these Terms shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, fiduciary, or other legal relationship between Lawyered Up, Inc. and any participating attorney, Expert Intermediary, law student, or other platform representative. Each individual remains solely responsible for their own professional obligations, legal compliance, taxes, insurance, and business operations.

22. Limitations of Damages

In no event shall Lawyered Up total liability to any user exceed the greater of 9a0 the total fees paid by that user for platform services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.00. This limitation applies to all claims, whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.

Lawyered Up, Inc. shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, failure to perform, or inability to provide access to the platform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, governmental actions, public health emergencies, cyberattacks, failures of third-party service providers, internet or telecommunications outages, utility failures, or other events beyond its reasonable control.

23. Alternative Business Structure (ABS) Notice

Upon activation of Lawyered Up Legal Services LLC under Arizona license #_____________, any legal representation facilitated through that entity shall comply fully with Arizona Supreme Court Rule 31 and all Alternative Business Structure regulations. This provision will take effect automatically upon licensure approval.

Nothing contained in these Terms shall be interpreted to expand or reduce the rights, duties, ethical obligations, or professional responsibilities imposed upon attorneys or the Alternative Business Structure under applicable law, court rules, licensing requirements, or regulations governing the authorized Alternative Business Structure. To the extent of any conflict, the applicable laws and regulations governing the licensed Alternative Business Structure shall control.
